Your experience here depends on your group. Me and another adult were placed in a 3.0 group with a 12 year old and another child. The 12 year old boy ended up running the group. The instructor did what the kid wanted: Queen of the court and other little games. Instead of telling the brat to shut the hell up, the pro engaged him, constantly stopping the action. On the second day, when I spoke up about this (because the pro was wasting 5 minutes+ going on about an irrelevant rule), he accused ME of arguing with him and "turning off the pro." !!! It seemed that he was catering to the brats and their dad because they were repeat customers whom he had taught previously. Well, he just lost a new repeat customer. The other adult in the group got even more upset than I did over this, and agreed that he was wasting too much time babysitting.
I came for hard core drills and instruction. The instructor did answer my questions, but only after I asked several times. We wasted way too much time on forehands, which no one needed help with. My private lesson started late and ended early. The lessons on the next court ran much longer than mine.
My advice: come with a game plan. Before you come, figure out which strokes you need help with and then ask for it. Be specific. Don't count on having it drilled into you. The instruction is NOT very personalized, so you need to control your own session and pry out the information that you want.
Our pro's name was Saif, pronounced Sef. He knew his stuff, and gave solid instruction. But he catered to the kids. Both adults in the group were unhappy. This place should have a lower age limit. Kids should not play with adults. Even if they are good hitters, they behave like kids.
Food was OK, nothing special. Salads were iceberg lettuce, onions, and other cheap ingredients. Meatballs gave me a very upset stomach. I ate them for lunch and felt sick well into the night. I almost vomited on the road. Veggies were bland. Coffee quality varied. No sodas! The only soft drinks are disgusting juices and extremely strong iced tea.
Rooms were fine, very clean, very warm, with nice views. Fair water pressure, hot water took awhile to kick in.
Overall: OK instruction. Ask for the specific stroke advice you need. Don't wait for it.
