The location of this B&B was great - a few blocks away from the busy downtown area, but well within walking distance. The owner was very nice and was able to provide many suggestions for things to do. The room was also lovely and the rates reasonable. My only complaint was the breakfast. It was advertised as "continental," meaning no hot entree. That was fine, but when baked goods were provided, they were more often Pillsbury biscuits or the like than homemade (or even bakery purchased) breads or muffins. I don't mind a continental breakfast, but at other B&Bs where I've stayed that has always included an impressive selection of homemade baked goods.

We were in Saratoga for the purpose of checking out our rental property and needed to stay in a comfortable place where we could feel cared for since we expected the worst from our tenant situation At the Westchester, Bob greeted us warmly and offered all kinds of snax and drinks along with the use of the lovely Victorian Home and manicured garden. The bed was comfortable , the Bath was clean and we had a power shower. Breakfast was a continental style but with unusual outrageous home baked scones( he refused to give me the family recipe despite my whimpering). We met a lovely couple there who were return quests and we enjoyed our mutual childchood rehashing. Finally Bob topped off our journey by giving us some leads for an attorney, and a general contractor who could help us out of our situation. Overall, a Tripple ratng. Thanks Bob

We have been staying with Bob & Stephanie for many years in late July on Opening Day of the Saratoga Racing Season. The continental breakfast is perfect and allows you to enjoy lunch at one of the excellent restaurants in downtown Saratoga. And the glass of lemonade or wine at the end of the day along with Bob & Stephanie's company is a great way to relax in their gardens. We look forward to seeing them every year and enjoying their wonderful inn.

My Stay Was a week long . longer than the norm for a bed and breakfast. after a long day on the motorcycle it wasa pleasure to return to the Westchester House Every night . the staff was very nice and made me feal like i was home.
