“Great Place For A Vacation!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 December 2011

The Inn at Baron's Cove is a wonderful little hotel for a very peaceful getaway. The rooms are clean and spacious and the surroundings very beautiful. The sunset at this time of year (fall) is gorgeous, the hotel is located next to the Sag Harbor marina and the sunseting over the water is breathtaking. The staff is very friendly and I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful vacation.

Room Tip: The Loft rooms are the best. Quiet and very spacious.

“Take a Good Look”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2011

Stayed here in room booked for wedding. Carpet worn thin (missing piece at front door). Air conditioner blew right on to the bed. Insufficent hot water in the shower. Postage-stamp sized bath towels (at least they gave you two each). Noise from another a/c compressor kept us up all night. Noise loud from upstairs and next door. Glad we at least weren't paying season rates.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else.

“dont take your shoes off”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2011

we were stuck with a two night minimum in a room the carpet was so old and dirty i wouldn't take my shoes off .We paid over $250 a night for a room that wasn't worth $69.We had a great view of the harbor but the balcony was so shabby you couldn't even sit outside.,The broken screen for the door was laid out on the deck so couldn't even air the place out . We assumed anything in sag harbor would be nice we couldn't have been more wrong.I don't doubt that in its prime this was a nice place but would have been in the 80's and not a dollar has been spent to update or clean this place since .you do not want to stay here it is a dump.

“MOLD & BED BUGS”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2011

I booked this place for one night to attend a wedding in East Hampton the bathroom had so much mold we refused to take a shower, we brought home a bed bug, and the Tennis Court is no longer as it has been taken over by weeds. Do not stay here, it is gross.

“Eek, not our style”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 September 2011

We stayed here the weekend after labor day to attend a wedding in nearby Sagaponack. Our room was $285 for a night in September and I really was horrified by the condition of the room. The tiles were separated in the bathroom, the carpets were dingy and stained. There was a horrible musty smell.

We have stayed in all ranges of hotels but this was definitely a 2 star joint. I am not a picky rater either. The location was nice I will give it that. The staff was friendly too but yikes, it needs a massive renovation. The pillows were lumpy and the sheets were scratchy and the bed was hard as a rock (I like a softer mattress) Thank goodness we were only staying a night. it just was a horrible choice to stay there when we had other options in the area. Wish I had known.
