Econo Lodge provided a CLEAN, small room and bathroom. Perfect for price and our quick turn around. In AM, needed a map of the area. Hotel provides internet access. Had time for workout. Exercise room provided weight lifting, treadmill and stationary bike with flat screen TV til 9 AM. Basic breakfast was fresh and filling. Asked for late checkout. No problem. Great staff.

I stayed in building 3, which are the newest rooms, and were about ten dollars more than the others on the nights I stayed. Very clean with nice amenities- real coffee cups! This is a nice budget place, and the best Indian run establishment I have ever stayed at. The desk staff is professional and accomodating, and the lobby is clean and cheery. I did not see the older rooms, so I can't attest to their condition, but for Long Island budget accomodation, I think this is a great value.

I was on a business trip & was staying at Econo Lodge in Ronkonkoma for almost a month, The staff was great, very courteous. Best part was room service, they would never bother me while I was there in the morning. some time I be late leaving for work. they wait till I leave and then clean the room. Manager was very nice & helpful. Got to use the company discount.
Oh yeah the breakfast, fresh waffle... yes fresh waffle, bagels, donuts, cup cakes. Overall for the price & location, It was great. No complains what so ever !!!!

First, you have to realize that this is an Econo-Lodge, pretty much the lowest rung on the Choice Properties ladder. Go with very low expectations, and you won't be disappointed. There are three buildings. One is the main office, lobby and a few rooms. The next is building 2 which houses the "fitness center". The fitness center consists of a treadmill, a recumbent bike and a weight machine. The room was nice and cool, had a water cooler and a flat screen TV. The treadmill looked brand new. I was very happy with it. I was always the only one using it. Building 3 is the newest and has the nicest rooms. It is also furthest from the highway and therefore quieter. The rooms in building 2, smelled like smoke although they were supposedly "smoke free". Building 3 was ok. There were no dreaded bed bugs and there was a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There is no pool at this property. Breakfast was a joke. We didn't even bother with it. But, again, that is what you'd expect with an Econo-Lodge. If you are just staying for a night or two and plan to use your room only to shower and sleep, then it's ok.
