Outside of the different smells in the Hallway, it was a very nice stay. Check-in was quick and professional, most of the desk staff were a well. Due to the Kitchenettes, you'll smell any, and everything in the hallway. The hall also smelled of cigarette ashes, but the room did not. Give me a break, I came here as I moved out of the city of Rochester, anywhere is better than that cesspool. California, here I come......... A pool is the only thing I'd add, there is no "full service business center, but they'll handle FAXes, and the Wi-Fi is a tad slow, but adequate. It is about a 20 - 30 minute walk to the mall.

I booked a room at the last minute, on the eve of a big snowstorm. The receptionist remembered me by name when I checked in, and had waited to end his shift until I arrived. I was surprised to the find room came with a kitchenette, when the price was much, much lower than "big name" hotels right down the road. Furthermore, my big dog was welcome with only a $25 charge, (while a neighboring hotel's fee was $200!) I would definitely recommend this hotel for travelers who are looking for simple, clean and affordable accommodations!

I was looking for a place to sleep with out paying a lot. This was a good value and no frills. Very clean and everything worked. Very comfortable and quite.

My family (wife and 3 young children) and I recently stayed at this place for 2 nights while in town for a wedding. We chose it simply for the price and "efficiency" setting. With young kids, it was nice to have the refrigerator and microwave. However, we didn't really like the place. No cleaning service offered, unless you stay there a week (or pay extra for daily cleaning). Wireless internet was $4.99 (one time only). Anytime you have to pay for this service, it's a negative in my book. This is 2008, this service should be available everywhere and should be included in the cost of the room. The dresser that the TV was on was very dusty. The rest of the place was relatively clean. The bed was awfully uncomfortable. Besides that, the sheets didn't even fit on the bed. They were way too small. They key cards they use are different than your standard magnetic cards. They have holes in them, however, you have to really jam them in the slot all the way to get them to work, which takes some extra effort. The place offers no breakfast. In fact, I don't recall seeing any on-site vending machines or anything. No complimentary shampoo, lotion, etc. Thankfully the place is close to drug stores, Starbucks, etc. In all, I probably wouldn't stay again, even if the price is significantly lower than anywhere else in the area. I would prefer to pay more and stay more comfortably.
