“Best hotel experience ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2011

I had no idea what Reen's place would be, just picked her because of the high ratings. What I saw blew my mind. At first I thought I was in The Truman Show, that perfect everything is, including Reen herself -- just the image of a prototypical host. This is basically Reen's house, and there is no boring corner there. Unlike The Truman Show though, everything is tasteful, at the very least. In truth, everything is filled with a spirit, and Reen herself appears to love what she is doing (when was the last time you've seen that?!) Her breakfasts are delicious, and she pro-actively accommodated all my needs. On top of everything the guests I met all were quite interesting and nice folks. If the weather is good, try working out of the front porch veranda -- I'd to move there if I could.

Wonderful bed and breakfast with a wonderful hostess. Reen was friendly and very accomodating. Her breakfasts were delicious. We sat on the lovely front proch and enjoyed our breakfasts.

“It's like staying at your favorite aunt”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 August 2011

I found this little b&b on line, it looked very cozy, not super romantic, but friendly and functional.
The house is adorable, super clean, the room was very spacious. You have to share the bathroom.
The Inn keeper - Reen - is wonderful she will make you feel at home and is very attentive. The breakfast is fresh and plentiful.
I stopped by for one night while on a business trip and I will go back next time.

“Lovely stay, even our 2 year old loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2010

We stayed for one night at Reen's b&b and had a wonderful time - much better than staying at a hotel! The rooms are clean and lovely and there is a very cozy atmosphere in general.

Reen is very inviting! She prepared a delicious breakfast in the morning, which even our very picky toddler enjoyed. She also put out some toys for our son and sat down and played with him for quite a while.

Highly recommended!

“A Great Find Right in My Own Home Town!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2010

I attended a theme party at Reen's B&B located right in my home town of Rochester, NY and what a pleasant surprise it was! Reen's is located in the city of Rochester on a tree-lined street of beautiful old homes. Reen's B&B has a great big front porch that welcomes you when you pull up.

The inn itself is not fancy, but it is warm and inviting with a little bit of an eclectic feel. The old woodwork and beautiful wooden staircase are beautifully preserved. It brought me back to visits to grandpa's house as a kid. The bed and the pillows were nice and comfortable, just the way you want them to be at a B&B and a down comforter at the foot of the bed was the perfect touch for the chilly fall night.

Our innkeeper, Reen, did a wonderful job making us feel right at home. She prepared us a delicious breakfast of coffee, fresh fruit juice, fruitcup and her special homemade sweet potato pancakes with orange honey butter...yum!

I would highly recommend this inn for anyone looking for a great, affordable place to stay in Rochester, NY. So much better than a hotel if you are visiting from out of town and a great little getaway even if you live in Rochester!
