The service could just not balance the poor condition and quality of the rooms. The bright blue carpet and old blue tile bath I could live with, but the lighting was hideous, and the room felt so dirty. After staying at the W in New York, I felt like I went to hell at the Swiss. The owner/gentleman was so nice and friendly, and responsive and hospitable, but going back to the room was a nightmare. I'm kind of a hotel dork, and like the nicer places, but next time will spend 2x as much and stay at the Hilton Garden or Holiday Inn. The water tasted horrible; the kitchenette was useless; the shower was bad; no shampoo, weak quality towels, and soap was really cheap. The AC unit did not function correctly, and the main lighting was two flourescent bulbs pointed right at you over the TV. The only thing that saved the trip was my confidence it was cleaned well on the first day because the place smelled of bleach. For this price, pay more and stay at one of the chains...internet service was bad (that's why I stayed here and not at other area motels). Stay away from this place!
