Had a recent one night stay here at this new hotel as part of a holiday event in connection with the adjacent aquarium (Atlantis Marine World - an outstanding aquarium BTW). It was my first stay at a Hyatt Place and I was very impressed and pleased with the efficiency of the design of this hotel. The way the room is set up with the flat screen TV that swivels to face the bed(s) or the sofa is very clever and an efficient use of space. As was the set up with the area when you first enter the room with the fridge/coffe maker/ desk area. No service issues whatsoever, the couple of staff members we dealt with were helpful. We didn't get to try anything from their Guest Kitchen window. However, I love the concept with it available 24/7 and you just enter your order on a touch screen. As for their complimentary breakfast, it was ok - some standard fare. I have had better (mostly becuase of expanded selections) and have had worse at other hotels. They could have had some chocolate milk for the kids, especially since their were so many families there for the holiday event. Only other negative is the parking situation. They only have a very small numner of spots in front of the hotel. There is some around back of the hotel and some additional parking across the street.
Room Tip: Avoid far end of hotel where rooms look out at the neighboring bar/restaurant "Jerry and the Me...
