Stayed at this hotel for one nite becuase of its proximity to Baseball Hall of Fame Cooperstown. Upon checkin the staff was very helpful with suggestions to several nearby restaurants for dinner etc. Location was convenient to restaurants and Cooperstown. Had no problems during our stay the price was a little more expensive than I usually would spend but they were the most reasonable in the area.

This was a nice hotel. My room was clean and fresh smelling. The bed was comfortable. The location was also good - close to many attractions.

Stayed at the Hampton Inn on a recent overnight business trip to Oneonta. The hotel was bright and updated. My room was clean and smoke smell free with a comfortable kind bed with plush duvet, flat screen tv, coffee maker and couch. Bathroom was perfectly fine with a large walk in stall shower. Staff seemed happy to be of service and the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. FYI - The hotel is not walking distance from the town of Oneonta and right off highway 88 and good luck getting dinner in Oneonta after 8:30 p.m, but that is not the Hampton Inn's fault. Highly recommend the hotel.

Have been to Oneonta a couple of times in the last three years, and the Hampton Inn is certainly the best option within the city limits. Nice, clean room; comfortable beds; attentive staff. While the Clarion is right on the main street, the Hampton Inn offers a better value for the money.
