“Excellent hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 October 2011

Great location - just outside of Fira (less than a 10 minute walk), very quiet, beautiful pool and a great breakfast. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was a great size and beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this for someone wanting a quiet and relaxing stay just outside of Fira. We did one night in Fira and two at Nautilus Dome - it was a perfect combination.

“Beautiful Hotel and really nice place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 August 2011

We stayed there for two nights. The hotel staff was very helpful and the rooms were very clean. The pool is beautiful and so is the view.
The hotel is far out from the city so a car or some other form of transportation is helpful. The road outside the hotel is busy so the night can be very loud but it ends fairly early.
The breakfast buffet was wonderful, and complete. I do recommend the hotel to families as the rooms fit 2-4 people.

Room Tip: ask for two floors

“Disgusting, Not Fit For Human Habitation, With a Rude Manager to Finish It Off”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 August 2011

If you get room 106, protest and seek another room. whether they clean the whole hotel with bleach from floor to ceiling is a matter of personal taste, but when we had a shower one morning that went less than 5 minutes and half the room was flooded, and a smell of sewerage backed up through the room, we were left feeling ill.

we left and agreed to a refund but was tole by booking on expedia that we would need to get the refund through them. the hotel owner then proceeded to abuse expedia staff and threaten legal action when we returned home and tried to get the refund, after much ado we got our money back but the trouble was far from worth it after all of that.

this 'hotel' is obviously self rated, as it rates closer to a 1/2 star than what it promotes itself as. do yourself a favour and look elsewhere!

“Best ocean view and peaceful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 August 2011

We stayed here for 4 nights as tourists in july. we both used suite room and general room, because we at first booked for 2 days and then loved the place and the island so booked more nights.
crews are polite and always eager to guide us with our stay and trips over the island. the pools were clean and the overall view from the rooms were beautiful. actually, people drive to come to a hill in front of nautilus dome to enjoy the scenery, but you don't have to get there driving because you are staying there.
I definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for some place not so crowded and noisy like Fira town in Santorini. The only problem could be the distance from the hotel to Fira town, because the only things near the hotel are a market and a pharmacy. But the distance to the Fira town doesn't matter because if you're in Santorini, u gotta be driving a car, whether yours or from rent-a-car. Without a car, it's difficult to hang around the island. And with a car, Fira town is really close ; it takes about 3 minutes.
the breakfast was also excellent.

Room Tip: a bit more expensive rooms with westside ocean view could be a great choice.

“We loved it and Hamez really looked after us”

The resort is opposite the lookout overlooking the Caldera and there are panoramic views in all directions from the rooftop, pool, bar, balconies and breakfast area. There are only a handful of suites so it never feels crowded and there is plenty of privacy. The best part was how well we were looked after by Hamez - he is a real asset to this resort, making us feel special and nothing was too much trouble. Because it is about 2kms out of Thira, my 17 year old son and I hired a quad to ride around island across the the lovely Perissa and Kamari beaches and the Mistral Taverna for traditional Greek dancing. It was the perfect ending to a busy trip around France, Italy and Belgium and we enjoyed every minute of Santorini from our wonderful resort base.
