“We loved it and we'll be back.”

For the third time we stayed at this lovely family-run hotel, and again we were very pleased. The room was very clean and comfortable with a balcony. We could have breakfast out by the pool, or inside the cozy breakfast room. We chose the breakfast room, which we liked. The hotel was a pleasant short walk from Fira's center and the bus station. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. They even could provide a plug adapter to the Greek electric outlets, for use at the hotel. A great place to stay for a visit to Santorini.

“Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 June 2011

The hotel was absolutely terrific. The service was fantastic - the family running the hotel were so friendly and helpful! The only reason location is "very good" and not "excellent" in my rating is because it wasn't at the caldera. Otherwise, only a 15 min walk from the bus station and caldera, 10 min walk from center of town. We had a balcony that looked onto the city. Room was very clean and lovely.

My friend and I walked back and forth to the bus station daily at different hours of the day and eve/night and always felt safe. It was an easy walk - hotel was very easy to find once we were first taken there by the family.

“adorable, good service, value for money”

They get a 4 for value! Paid 40 -50 euros and got way more than a crappy hostel would offer. bed was actually a full bed, not two twins. Pool was great. Service was impecable -- careful on the english ;) Free wireless.

Cons -- breakfast was only bread and jelly. Location, while walking distance to town, wasn't exactly good at night. Lighting is bad, so if you're a bit tipsy, keep your eyes wide open. cars go way too fast and the road is big enough for 1.5 cars. Also hard to find for first timers.. call ahead and get picked up. We found that taxi drivers didn't know where it was.

“Great location,friendly,clean and great price!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 July 2010

Spent 3 nights here and really liked this friendly family run hotel. The location was great as far as i was concerned, although you dont have view of the Clardra,(neither do you have a crazy price!)you do have an excellent view of the rear of the island and its just far enough from the main tourist area to avoid the noise and motorbikes, etc but still only around 10 mins walk to main square. You also get a lovely pool and a nice balcony ,esential for cooling off (35 degrees). The rooms were spotless as was the pool area and the girls that run it friendly and helpful,at under €50 a night i thought this was an absolute bargain!

“Good location and friendly owner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 June 2010

We stayed here for 4 nights, it takes about 10 mins to walk to the main centre Fira, because we stayed here out of season there wasn't much noise at all. The roads are a bit dodgey without any pavements for pedestrians but Greece is like that in general. This place is defo value for money, we payed 30 euros per night for a superior room which was massive, and so was the bathroom. We also has a balcony, theres no view but what do you expect for 30 euros per night. For us this place ticked all the boxes for a budget traveller. One niggling thing would be the shower, in Greece (unless you pay good money) they dont have a shower head clip so you have to hold it the whole time you have a shower, annoying but for 4 days, it was okay. If we had more money for sure we would choose a place with a view. We visited the whole island, I thought of staying in Firostefani, we visited here and to me the place was cute but boring as hell, overpriced resturants, there was a few places to eat and no where to view shops and walk around. So to stay near to the centre was perfect, Oia was a bit more lively, but everything you want is in the center, there's even a caldera there so there must be decent places to stay
