Thirasia Hotel is 5 minutes on foot from the centre.The staff is friendly and hospitable.The rooms are clean and the swimming pool is fantastic.I don't have anything else to say.This hotel is very good and I recommend it to everybody.

Clean room, bathroom could have been cleaner. Airport transport provided with advance notice. Pool right outside our door, family owned, nice family. 5 minute walk from the heart of Fira, buses, etc. On the main road so we didn't have to lug our bags up/down the many stairs on the caldera.

I just have to start by saying that Cristina is the nicest person! She's very helpful and will answer any question that you have. However, her husband on the other hand needs a change of attitude! He doesn't speak a word of English and he yelled at my friend for wanting to bring a friend over. There's a certain way to explain that we're not allowed to have guests instead of yelling in the middle of the night and waking other guest up! But Cristina apologized for him, since he's not capable of doing it himself! Other than that, the TV didn't work (we only had one channel). The room had air conditioner, a fridge and a blow dryer. The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk to the city center which is perfect since it's away from noisy tourists. But the pool is located right next to the road which you full you are completely exposed.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I had a great time. The people were very friendly. The hotel was clean. I really enjoyed my stay.
