Milos Villas is a beautiful property about 800m down the hill from town. Its not too steep, but a leisurely walk in the morning or afternoon/evening. The service beats any inconvenience and the quiet, clean and lovely atmosphere is conducive to a relaxing or fun filled adventurous atmosphere. Pick up and drop off at the ferry was no trouble (even at 0200) and organising activities was a pleasure (better than travel agents in town).

I had the most relaxing stay at Milos Villas, it is a haven of peace in a stunning location; it's removed from the hustle and bustle of the main town of Fira, yet within easy reach (walking distance, 10 minute walk at most). From Fira's bus station, which is also a stone's throw away from the hotel, there is a regular bus service to the main beaches, the magnificent town of Oia, and the archaeological site of Akrotiri.

The people at the hotel are incredibly helpful and friendly, the landlady will welcome you with the warmest and kindest smile.

The hotel itself is very beautiful, you will enjoy looking up to the windmill as you are having a night swim in the swimming pool, have a brandy in the veranda, and wake up to the great views over the countryside and the sea at a distance.

Highly recommended for anyone!

We were booked in here by an Athens travel agent (Passpartout Travel who I would most definitely NOT recommend) and paid too much to stay here in comparison to other options available.

But, we found our stay a Milos Villas very comfortable with the only real problem being it is well over 1 kilometre from Fira and it is all uphill. But the staff were very friendly and can organise car/bike hire to pick you up at the hotel. They also pick you up from the ferry.

The rooms are nicely appointed with air con and nice balconies.

Overall fine, but a bit overpriced for the distance out of town.
