“Excellent service and breathtaking views of the caldera”

My husband and I stayed at the Aroma Suites in Santorini for 3 nights during our 3 week holiday in Istanbul and Greece in January 2012. The hotel has the best location with breathtaking views of the caldera and the most magical sunsets. Free transport from the ferry on arrival and to the airport when we left was a welcome offer. A tasty breakfast spread was served in our room every day. The service provided by the owner Fanus and Chris who assisted us with transport, information, car hire, a food delivery service and regular chats was the highlight of our stay here. Unfortunately I injured my foot when falling down the stairs - Fanus and Chris went out of their way to help with assistance to the pharmacy, the hospital for xrays and getting from the room to the ambulance and back. Their sincere caring and selfish assistance was very touching and we thank them for this. Aroma Suites will definitely be our choice of hotel should we return to the most beautiful island of Santorini.

“THE MAGIC PLACE IN FIRA”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2012

We spent the last two days of our honeymoon in Santorini in July 2011 and we stayed at "Aroma Suites..
And it was a great choice!
The location is perfect, close to everything and with a great view.
We stayed at the cave room and we really like it,
The staff have been very friendly with us and very helpful.
We are going back in Santorini next summer and we'll stay there again.
Just looking forward for it!

“Charming & homey lodging”

I and my travel companions occupied the vanilla cave suite. A homey in-cave lodging that sleeps a max of 5 pax (but Fanes, the owner, was so nice to have let the 6 of us to stay together in one room). The interior is well decorated. A little old but clean. The property is located in the heart of Fira. Few meters away from everything. Our suite is equipped with a small kitchen, a fridge, a dining table, a private balcony, TVs, a cd player, blow dryers, an ironing board and a safe. There's also a big jacuzzi in the bathroom. Too bad though that at the time of our stay it was under repair. However, good customer service made up for it. Dibs on the gentleman named Chris, who oversaw us during our stay. He's just so pleasant and helpful. Overall, this hotel is recommendable! Will definitely come back.

“Nothing but good things to say!”

Visited with my Dad in late December 2011. The entire island was pretty quiet due to it being the off season, but in a way that made the visit quite special! The owner, Chris, went out of his way - took us on a tour of the island, drove us to a lovely restaurant for lunch on our first day, and when we were kept in at night because of the bad weather, gave us takeaway menus and ordered the food for us. When he found out I was injured, he even helped me with getting around! In addition, the breakfast is inexpensive yet excellent. I was so amazed by the kindness and hospitality of everyone at Aroma Suites, and I definitely hope I'll be able to return sometime soon.

“Santorini's best !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 December 2011

After spending a couple of days in Athens and four days on a coach tour covering Olympia, Dephi and Meteora, my mother, brother and I landed in Satorini on November 16, 2011 where I was told, would make our short trip to Greece complete. I was given a poster of Santorini a few years ago but didn't expect the island to be as beautiful and picturesque as it seemed on it. And what made our stay even more memorable was that we were checked into the Aroma Suites Hotel in Fira. We were in fact booked into the hotel by our travel agency based on its previous credentials so needless to say, quality service and comfort were already anticipated by us.
My family was greeted by a pleasant and hospitable staff,Chris, at the airport who gave us a ride to the hotel, helped us with our luggage and even brought us on a tour of the island the following day. He also served us breakfast (the grilled cheese sandwich was super yummy!) in our rooms for three consecutive days and throughout our stay, offered us friendly advice on where to go, where to eat etc.. Our limestone cave shaped room was unlike what I have stayed at in my life; it was totally unique, quaint and cozy and came with a few kitchen amenities for easy meals indoors. The hotel premises were clean and well maintained. The balconies overlooked the beautiful blue waters and the volcano and looked out to the splendid sunset which many a traveller to Santorini expects to catch.. We were just steps to a wide broadwalk facing the sea where every spot we were at offered a picture perfect shot. Shops and restaurants abound and were all within short walking distances to the hotel. The owner of the hotel Fanis whom we got to meet gave us a warm welcome to the hotel and followed up at the end of our stay that everything had met our expectations, something you would not find in any regular hotel. Would definitely go back to Aroma Suites if I were to visit Santorini again and would highly recommend future travellers to do the same. Ping Chiu, Toronto, Canada
