After our initial disappointment with the location of the hotel, we spent the next couple of days in Santorini looking at alternative accommodation. By default this was a great experience as we really got to explore this beautiful island. After 6 nights I can categorically state that this was an excellent hotel which we were sad to leave at the end of our stay. The pool was beautiful and peaceful. The staff were delightful and extremely helpful. Pannos our wonderful waiter took us out on the town after his shift and showed us all the best nightspots of Fira. In fact the hotel became a bit of a sactuary after the hustle and bustle of the towns. I would recommend asking for a room on the second level though! Breakfast was delicious with beautiful fresh fruits and even a glass or two of yummy prosecco was included. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very modern and minimalistic but was very attractive. The rooms were not massive, but adequate and well furnished. We had a room facing the road that had a fair bit of traffic, it had a small balcony but a wonderful view of the caldera. The donkeys used to come past every day which was different.
The buffet breakfast was good but we did not eat in the hotel but walked into Fira where there were loads of good restaurants.
Santorini is a beautiful island so hire a car and travel round it.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel in September. The hotel is located at about 10 minutes walk from the town of Fira. The hotel is located directly on the main road of the island which is very busy. We were lucky to be assigned a room on the opposite site where we did not hear the traffic. The hotel is actually quite nice. You ca sea the ocean both side of the hotel. Our room was large with a living room area and a small terrace. The room's decor is modern and sleek. There is free WIFI internet in the rooms and in the lobby of the hotel there is a couple of computer available to guests. The room was clean and well equipped with a large comfortable bed, nice linen, free safe, coffee maker and fridge. The pool area is amazing with a view of the ocean. The breakfast buffet was very good. A lot of choices (hot and cold), mimosas and very good service. In Fira you can take the bus to go visit Oia. The tickets are avaible at the bus station just at the entrance of Fira. The bus runs until late in the evening so it is a safe, cheep and practical way to enjoy dinner and sunset in .Oia. We also took a wine tour with Santorini Wine Tour which I highly recommend.

Modern hotel, with comfortable rooms and good bathroom amenities. The view of the sunrise and sunset over the caldera is brilliant - as all rooms have an attached balcony with seating that allows one to enjoy the view! Good service and a great breakfast buffet, though the gymnasium was very basic. Fira town is about a 10 - 15 minute walk along a scenic road and makes for working up an appetite for dinner! Must stay for couples looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life!
