My partner and I took our first trip to Greece last July and had the most wonderful experiences. The Nomikos Villas in Santorini was superior to our accommodation in Mykonos and Crete, due to the unbelievable view, wonderful hospitality of the staff and the lovely loft room with patio.
The breakfast was delicious and served every morning on our patio, very intimate and romantic.
The only issue we had was the firmness of the mattress, other than that, everything was perfect. A great place for couples.
My partner went scuba diving through Volcano Diving Center in Kamari and really thought it was an awesome experience. I went with him once as a passenger only, I don't dive, but found the zodiac trip back a little too rough for my liking.
We rented a scooter and had a terrific time travelling around the island and visiting the beaches!

Lovely hotel, but definitely more boutique style than a big touristy hotel. The highlight fro us was the lovely walk on the calder edge into Fira town, the breakfasts on the private balcony and the view of the sunsets from the pool (not big, but great for a dip). The one major dissapointment for me was the mattress which was very hard and uncomfortable. They really need to upgrade these to deserve their room prices.

This was our first visit to Santorini. We have been visiting Greece for 25 years and have read so much about the views over the caldera I was concerned that it may have been over hyped. I was wrong, the view from our balcony was just amazing. This property is in Firostefani a quiet location just 10/15 mins from the centre. Unlike many other properties its situated at the top of the cliff with a full 180 degree view, we spent a lot of time on the balcony. We paid extra for a private balcony on a slightly higher level but standard rooms with shared terraces on the pool level had the same view. The pool is very small like many others in the area but its not meant for swimming, just cooling down. Breakfast was good and delivered to your room. The staff were great, friendly & helpful, Bessie speaks good English and knows all the answers. We did the boat trip to the volcano, hot springs, Thirassia for lunch (not included) then back to Santorini (Oia) for the sunset. We thought this was a good day out (strenuous) for 35e each. Its taken us a long time to visit this island but we got it right.

The staff was very friendly and helped in every way they could.
The room was a bit strangely configured, but nice given the structure that was obviously remodeled. The bed was not too comfortable.
Breakfast was nice, better on sunny days by the pool. We ate in the room several days because of the wind, but the wind was it's own experience that high.
Don't count on the "hot" tub.
