My friend and i stayed here in aug 2011 it is a great hotel A very short walk to town great pool right outside my door rooms were super clean and staff was super helpful free internet we were stuck there because of a storm in nyc and the 2 sister could not have done more to help us while we were stuck in greece for an extra week those girls are the best!!!!! Not only im i a customer when im in greece but they also have a friend in me On my next trip to Santorini i will definitly stay there and would recommend to anyone who goes there the girls recommended the best beaches to us we had a great time!!!!!!

My wife and I stayed at the Astir Thira September 26-29 2011.Very good location 5 minutes walk from downtown Fira and close to the food store. Rooms are very clean and have a nice european style. Super nice view of the volcano from the balcony. The staff is very helpful, they helped us with our car rental reservation, and we got our car bright and early at the reception of the hotel. The internet is free. Breakfast is a nice continental buffet. Pool is nice and clean. We'll go back again on our next trip to Santorini.

me and husband stayed here for 3 nights....it sucked....u here the cars go by all the time, the views suck, the hostesses who work there have noooooo customer service....they are not helpful in anyway...the breakfast is disgusting the cheapest cold cuts and processed crap....the coffee was disgusting!! how do u mess up coffee????
the matress is very springy---cheap cheap cheap....horrible for the back...
there is a safe in the room which u can use....which hangs on ur room key.....BUT u have to give the room key to the hostess when u leave...how does make any sense---and many times they tell u "Oh just leave the key on the desk" im like yeah so any moron can pick it up...and when u ask for the key they just give it to u... no ?'s....we will never stay here again....

I think we might have been a bit prejudiced after staying in a stunning hotel in Mykonos. On arrival here there was no bus waiting to transfer us to the hotel which was the case in Mykonos. Rooms are quite old, but clean. Bed is extremely uncomfortable.

Service is good.

All round average hotel for 3 star.
