“Breathtaking location”

My girlfriends and I rented 2 rooms for 2 nights and we regret that we didn't book a few more days at this fabulous hotel. Three reasons to stay, 1)Location-It’s at the top of Fira, near the shopping district and restaurants and has the best view of the Aegean Sea and the Caldera. 2)Service. The service was incredible. The staff greeted us with Champaign as we arrived and was quick to answer any of our questions, help us with calling our excursion companies and were resourceful in finding us last minute cabs so we can catch the sunset on the other side of the island. 3) Amenities. Sitting at the infinity pool on a hot summer day and waking up to the wonderful breakfast, with the view of the caldera, where highlights of our vacation. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful time at this lovely hotel. You definitely felt pampered and special. I would love to return with my husband one day soon as this was a very magical and romantic hotel .

“Cosmopolian Suites Santorini”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 December 2011

This was excellent in every respect, from the porters who transported our luggage to and from our bus, the very charming hostess who welcomed us and gave us valuable information about Fira and Santorini, the rooms, amazing views of the caldera, and the beautiful pool where it was very pleasurable to have breakfast next to each morning. I would definitely come here again if holidaying in the vicinity.

“Gorgeous views, goregous room, great staff!”

When we arrived, the front desk guy (Jerry) met us out on the street to help us carry our luggage (it was dark and cars are not allowed on the small streets back to the hotel so the taxi driver had to let us off on the main street). It is not a far walk at all to the hotel but was nice that somebody met us on the street to help us with our bags! Upon arrival, we were given a cell phone that we could use to call the front desk at anytime during our stay from anywhere on the island in case we needed something (talk about convenient and AWESOME!). The staff was very helpful in recommending things to do, places to eat (we went very late in the season -- @ the end of October-- so many things were closed, but the staff was helpful in letting us know what would and wouldn't be open). The views are breathtaking and you have a front row seat to the amazing sunsets on Santorini. The hotel overlooks the volcano and is very close to nice restaurants, as well as the cable car down to the old port where you can catch ferries to many day tours, and eat at the restaruants down there if you so choose. The beds are super comfy and the bathroom was very spacious! I could not say one bad thing about this hotel, to be honest. At breakfast, they wait on you as if you were in a 5-star restaurant and you can have breakfast delivered to your room.... they will make you omlets and things made to order, unlike many hotels. On the day we left, we had to leave at 7am (before breakfast time) and they delivered us breakfast to our room early since we were going to have to miss it.

“Wow!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 November 2011

From the moment you walk down the steps to enter the Cosmopolitan, you know that this is a place unlike any other. The infinity pool literally falls into the caldera and the views from your room cannot be described. Definitely an amazing hotel with a friendly and accommodating staff. Very romantic and in a terrific location in Fira.

“Excellent in every way!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 October 2011

When I was perusing tripadvisor prior to my Big Fat Greek Vaca, I sought out the negative comments, as those, to me, were the most telling... At the risk of being unhelpful, I can honestly report that the Cosmopolitan Suites was perfect in every way.
First the hotel itself, although right in the heart of the bustling cobblestones, is curiously private. It is just off the beaten path, easy to get to, easy to find.
The view, as the photos promise, is spectacular. My room was beautifully appointed, quiet and comfortable.
The food was delicious, plentiful and readily available. Once I ordered the tuna sandwich and was told that they were sorry but it would be about 25 minutes because they had to bake the bread. It was so worth the short wait!
Ahhhh, the staff... Vasso is the hostess and manager and go-to girl for all things vaca. She is always cheery and her English is excellent! She suggested (wisely!) that I take a hike one day from Fira to Oia. She checked to make sure I had my hotel-issued bat phone, just in case I got tired along the way, they would come and get me... I laughed and joked that while that probably wouldn't happen I might need one of their delicious espressos delivered... With a sincere smile, she said, "of course! just give us a call!". I seriously think she was serious. Gregory, Jerry, the sweet lady who tended to my room are indescribably courteous, efficient, friendly and absolutely trustworthy.
I loved the weeks that I spent at this hotel and I'm sure that you will too.

Room Tip: I booked one room but Vasso upgraded me to another when I arrived "since I was staying for so l...
