After Island hopping for 2 weeks I have to say that Santorini was without a doubt the most beautiful island . The Aigialos was one of the most beautiful places we stayed.
Well every other review has tried to capture the magnificent views in words, and it's not easy but I'll give it another try. They are absolutely to-die-for the beauty of this island must be seen to be believed... and Aigialos is the best place to experience all that the island has to offer.
The view is like walking into a dream, drinking wine and watching the sunset with the infinity pool provided the perfect setting. When we arrived we were greeted and served a unique welcome drink called "canelada" by the pool.
The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable.
Service here is outstanding, never met nicer people who really care about what they do.
We hope to be coming back for a repeat stay some time very soon!

My husband and I stayed in the Zefyros suite for 6 days to celebrate our wedding anniversay in early October 2011. The Aigialos is a real gem of a hotel: small, intimate and expertly run, with charming staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Only 5 minutes walk from central Fira, Aigialos is quiet, offers very high standards, and has a wonderfully relaxed and friendly atmsphere. The views over the caldera from our two terraces in Zefyros were stunning, and we spent every evening there watching the memorable sunsets, glass of wine in hand! Stay at the Aigialos and you will not be disappointed.

We stayed in Apliotis House which was spacious with a private terrace, the staff and service were fantastic. They would bring us breakfast so we could have our own private breakfast and enjoy the wonderful views from our terrace. The staff were friendly and so helpful and helped us organize our day trips which were great especially the Catamaran cruise. We also had great warm sunny days in October. The hotel organized pick up and drop off to and from the airport. We only had a small TV in the room but that did not bother us.

We stayed at Aigialos for 5 days. The service, staff and rooms were fantastic. Excellence is the word that comes to mind when I'm thinking of the service that they provided us. We had an issue with our air-condition and they offered us another room and within 24 hours they had the units rlaced and fixed. The food was great, the view from our room was incredible. The staff, polite, virtuous and J.Pierre was a great host and a boss that anyone would love to work for. We give Aigialos an A+. Bravo.
