We stayed in 2 rooms during our 4 nights at the Aspaki -- the Endless Blue Honeymoon suite as well as the Romeo & Juliet suite. The Endless Blue room is fantastic and has an enormous deck with a jacuzzi on it. Because the Aspaki is further out from the rest of Oia, your views from Endless Blue are almost 360 degrees and are absolutely unreal! The Romeo & Juliet suite is a little smaller, but still nice with a long patio in the front.
The staff was extremely gracious and very easy to deal with. They also gave us a cell phone so that we could call them and make reservations, questions on directions, taxis, etc. With only 10 rooms or so between the Aspaki and Oia Castle, the staff was able to give very personal service to their guests.
Another thing we absolutely loved about the Aspaki was the location; it is the heart of Oia and right along the main street. Some of the other resorts looked very nice but were at the other end of the town, and a much farther walk to all the restaurants/shops. At Aspaki, everything was about a 5 minute walk b/c of its central location.
Finally, if you are looking for a "resort"-experience with a pool, restaurant, etc then this is probably not the place for you. It is much more of a bed and breakfast-type hotel. We knew this before we stayed at Aspaki, and wouldn't have changed a thing. Most of the hotels in Oia do not have their own pools, and the ones that do appeared to be at the edges of town (and a much longer walk to all of the restaurants/shops).
We loved the Aspaki for the location, views and price, and would stay there again if we ever go back.
