“No regret”

Is a very good location where the short walk from car park. Opposite is a convenient store to buy some beers and wines.

I'm glad that the owner arrange a very nice room for us. Just right in front of the pool with view of Aegean sea. A balcony for us to enjoy the pool and view. We also had our breakfast at the balcony.

Entrance is a sitting area with dining table and also a kitchen with a lot of utensils. Very clean.
The room was separated with the kitchen. The only problem is the toilet too small and hand shower.

Morning stroll along the pathway by the caldera is very relaxing. So peacefully quiet. Very short walk to oia centre but the walk is so enjoyable as all nice cave house and view along the way.

Really love it and will back again. The owner also very kind to allow me use their Internet for free for less than 5 min. Thanks a lot.

“Beautiful view, uncomfortable matresses”

Not much more to add.
The bad: Owners not too personable or friendly, mattress hard as a rock, shower small.

The good: All of this is easily overlooked with the wonderful location, view and room size. Reasonably clean. Our room had a small kitchen which was appropriate for making coffee, etc. in the morning with glasses, dishes, pans, etc. Could watch the sunset from the pool area, although arrive early, all of the other guests have the same thought.
Pools (2 of them) were beautiful and clean, but too cold for us to go in. Parking was pretty easy a short walk away, not sure if it would be as easy to find in high season.

Very Good value.

“Spectacular view of the caldera and sunsets on the edge of town.”

The location of this hotel is everything. Although on the outside edge of town it is situated on a hillside offering a manificent view of the caldera. And at a reasonable price. We had a suite with two bedrooms and cooking facilities which we found excellent. There was a well maintained swimming pool and sitting area below our unit. The walk into town was some distance but not unreasonable and the views from the walkway were spectacular.

“Best value & location in Oia”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 October 2010

Myself and my husband (early 30’s) stayed in Olympic Villas for 2 nights recently. We got a great bargain but did not have a view looking over the cliff side of Oia but we didn’t mind as you can easily stroll out to the pool and admire the scenery.

The Villas are on the way into Oia from Fira, there is a rental place across the road from which we hired a quad to explore the island. Oia is definitely the best place to stay in the island. The capital Fira is nice but not a patch on Oia. The owners of Olympic are a young family and are not super friendly but were always helpful when we needed them so that was perfect. The room was clean but as per usual for everywhere we stayed there was a pretty standard wooden bed and a shower that does not hang up and has a shower curtain (we found this everywhere in Greece).

The town of Oia is around an 8/10 minute walk away along a lovely pathway that looks over the fabulous cave houses and swimming pools of the expensive hotels. Each night we walked down to the end of the island got some take away beers from the supermarket and sat on the walls to watch the sunset with hundreds of other people. The views are simply spectacular and the atmosphere is great. We found the prices in Santorini closer to Irish prices (dinner for 2 with wine €80/90) so we were glad we didn’t spend loads on accommodation. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, the location is perfect and it’s great value (we booked through a travel agent book-santorini-hotels.com)

“Great value, beautiful view and pools, toddler friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2010

We stayed 6 days. Oia is definitely best place on Santorini and the villas close to the village, but far enough away to avoid all the crowds.
The pools were fantastic and the views amazing. The rooms were great - we had a superior apartment which was worth the extra as we were in a smaller apartment on the first day.
The owner's mother is really lovely and made us so welcome on arrival (at 7am) and let us put our toddler to bed in one of the smaller apartments as our's wasn't ready. She could not have been nicer.

Would definitely stay there again. Oia is gorgeous and much nicer than Fira. We did the sailing trip recommended in the welcome info - day trip to volcano, swim and lunch on a small island - brilliant and fine with a very active 20 month old. There is a little playground in Oia village which was great for toddler too. Our sturdy maclaren buggy was fine on the steps etc of the village, but when we went to see the sunset we just carried/walked Will due to the crowds. Resturants very toddler friendly and welcoming.

There are a couple of good stores - directly across the road and down the path also - 'perivolas'. Easy to buy fruit, milk, juice, beer, pasta and sauces etc. Opposite perivolas there is an excellent pub (tavern) with delicious and well priced food and drink and they also do takeaway food - so can bring it back to the villas and eat with caldera view. Magic.
