We stayed for 3 nights - 2 in Boatman's studio and 1 in the Winemaker's suite. We had originally booked 3 in the Boatman's studio, but I had wanted to check out the honeymoon suite. It was booked for the first 2 nights of our trip, which is why we went with Boatman. We were looking at trip advisor and noticed that Ikies was offering 10% off for stays in October. We had already booked, but we were still far enough away that we could cancel and rebook. I emailed Ikies and asked if we could take advantage of the deal, and while we were at it, if we could change our reservation so that our last night was in the Winemaker's suite. They had absolutely no issue with this and changed the reservation as soon as we confirmed. They were very helpful even before we got to the hotel. We received emails with information about the hotel and with different excursions we could take advantage of while we were on the island.

We were absolutely blown away when we arrived at Ikies. The view from the Boatman studio was breathtaking. We got there just before sunset, so we immediately ordered some delicious Greek snacks and drank the wine that came with our room. We relaxed in the hot tub and enjoyed the views. For breakfast, you get a sheet and choose what you would like them to bring. We had meats, cheeses, bread, fruit, yogurt, orange juice, tea and chocolate drinks. Everyone that worked there was so attentive and the service was very great.

We moved to the Winemaker's suite for the last night. The room is very large and the bathroom is huge - two sinks, separate toilet, separate shower and bathtub, and a steam room! The balcony was very large, also with a hot tub. We definitely enjoyed this room as well, but the views weren't as good. The Winemaker's suite is down lower in the hotel and it felt less private than the Boatman's studio. Also, the hot tub wasn't right up against the edge of the balcony.

Next time we will stay in Boatman's, but I'm glad we also got to stay in the Winemaker's suite. If you like more space in your room and a larger (and much nicer) bathroom, Winemaker's might be for you! It seems like you can't really go wrong at this hotel! They have wifi, fantastic breakfast and snacks that you can order from 1pm-9pm, very helpful staff, great location, gorgeous views and more! This was such a romantic and relaxing 3 night stay on our honeymoon. Thank you!

We've visited IKIES twice and have booked for our next trip already. It is an absolute haven from the world and a real bolt hole away from life's stress. The staff are friendly and greet you by name. They are there when you need them but never intrude and are keen to do anything to help.

The views from the rooms are among the best on the islands and we think sunset here is better than anywhere else in Oia. Ikies really is perfection!

We stayed at Ikies at the end of September this year for a week with my husband and 2 kids aged 13 and 10 yrs. I spent absolutely ages researching our big trip to Greece and where to stay on Santorini. I think I read every review of every hotel but something kept drawing me back to Ikies and the heartfelt reviews on their site. This is a very special place and from the moment we arrived at the hotel I knew that my choice was AMAZING. Everything you read is true, the staff just gorgeous and helpful in every way, the location stunning and the rooms offer everything you could want. This is a unique boutique hotel. Don't look any further, stay In Oia for sure and stay at Ikies. We took our kids along as we were on a month's holiday around Europe but next time it's just me & my husband and Ikies. I hope nothing ever changes

My wife and I researched Santorini hotels thoroughly for our honeymoon and really liked what we read about Ikies. Despite the price, we decided to go for it since you only do it once....what a treat! We stayed in the House of the Boatman suite. It was so cozy, clean, and comfortable. Everything about it was great, especially the view of the Caldera.

We quickly learned that the service and staff at Ikies was superb! Always there to help and make you feel right at home. The breakfasts were AWESOME and the room service delicious! Again, totally worth the price.

Unfortunately, given the recent events in Greece, our stay was forced to be abbreviated as our flights off Santorini and then out of Athens were in jeopardy. The staff was completely accommodating and helpful in setting us up with transportation.

If I ever had the desire to go back to Greece, which I don't given the situation and unrest we were forced to experience in Athens, I would fly directly to Santorini and go straight to Ikies. It is a phenomenal place that I will never forget. It sets the bar for 5 star stays!
