Booked two rooms here. It is more of a motel style. Arrived just before 10pm, and the kids went straight out to the outdoor pool to swim as it was open until 10.30, nice clean pool area, sunbeds etc, probably not used much as it seemed to be more of a place for businessmen to stay.
Rooms were very clean, bathrooms great too with a really powerful shower. Room even had tea, coffee tray which you don't usually get in France. Receptionist was lovely, really helpful and spoke fluent English.
Breakfast was 11 euros which is quite expensive but you could have as much as you like. There was the usual cold hams, cheeses etc, as well as bacon, scrambled egg, and mushrooms. Also breads, croissants, cereal, freshly squeezed juices, and a selection of coffees.
I have never stayed in a Kyriad before but would definitely use again.

I visited Montpellier at the end of September on business. My company chose the Campanile at St Clement as the majority of the hotels in the area were fully booked.

After a fantastic yet extended taxi ride from the airport we arrived at the Campanile in the middle of a rainstorm. It was immediately evident that we were probably some of the first English guests to stay at the motel.

After the confusing check in we headed towards the rooms which are motel style across three floors (no lifts.) The room was probably one of the worst I have ever stayed in. Most of the fixtures were damaged and away from the walls, there was a complete covering of mould throughout the room and the linen looked like it had been grabbed from a tramp. I decided that for hygiene and security it would be better if I didn't unpack my things.

We visited the hotel restaurant one evening but after being treated like criminals for ordering a beer we tried eating out as much as possible. Breakfast was taken at the hotel and was, at best, grotty.

Check out was an absolute nightmare and took over an hour as they demanded we paid them again even though the company had paid for the rooms up front.

Onsite facilities are terrible and one evening a walked the mile to a vending machine just so I could have a drink.

The location is terrible for Montpellier unless you have transport. It was a good 45 minute walk to the nearest bus stop across roads with no pavements and lighting.

I see no reason why anyone would want to stay at the Campanile other than locals after cheap accommodation. Best avoided at all costs.
