Central Montpellier was completely sold out of hotel rooms, so I took a chance on this Kyriad that was suggested by a colleague. Americans will call this property a motel. It's similar in design and quality to a good quality American motel. It seems to have been recently renovated. The room, though small, was spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished.
The location is rather pretty in a wooded area. It's definitely off the tourist path and I got the distinct impression that English speaking guests were very rare. (You might gather the same from the reviews here.) But the employees were friendly and helpful and we got by between their spotty English and my pitiful French.
There's a restaurant on-site. I found it very disappointing. Breakfast was served in the lobby. It was an adequate, simple continental breakfast.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
