And it's still good, still friendly, still delicious breakfasts.
Took a 1st floor suite this time - it was huge (over 2 floors), with a big balcony directly overlooking the gardens. Lots of stairs though, and no help with luggage. In-room furniture and decor in need of a freshen-up but nothing major. Public areas still charming. Pool/sauna are a bit of an afterthought (smallish and odd shaped pool in an low-ceilinged garden-room, but still very refreshing after a long drive, and my 4yr old saw absolutely nothing to complain about - he loved it :-)
Price around 290E for the night, excl any wine or dinner, which, sorry to say, seemed pretty pricey compared to other choices. Still a nice hotel, but no longer the best in the area.
