Stayed with a group fo friends and were very happy. The reception is small and so is the bar/seating area but don't let this put you off on arrival. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are good, one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in at an hotel. We had a good nights sleep.
The food is very good and uses local produce of course. The wine is also good and very cheap.
The town is small and has a few shops including a small Casino shop. Parking at the rear through locked doors at night is secure.
We will return one day.

Beautiful, well kept hotel! We arrived an hour after check in (due to navigational issues). The manager waited for us and was very friendly and gracious when we arrived. The room was very comfortable. A great breakfast is offered. Free parking is available just outside the front door. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!!

I've stayed twice in successive years. The hotel has been modernised a bit since the first time. It is excellent value and the food is fantastic - you can pay a lot lot more and get much much worse! I liked the jarret de porc. Local wine is good and being outside the major wine regions it is quite cheap. Lots to see nearby - I've traveled by train and car, train is difficult as few services to St Gervais. There are some excellent walks round the village - however few facilities for children.
