“Uncomfortable beds, humble bedding, terrible breakfast...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

Overall I would not stay here again unless I was really hurting for money. You get what you pay for, I suppose. The beds were hard and unsupportive at the edges, the bedding was very humble (two thin blankets, no duvet), and the breakfast was unacceptable (no real butter for the make-them-yourself waffles, a vat of eggs next to a greasy vat of patty sausage, cereal, pre-packaged donuts and muffins... the only edibles were boiled eggs and fruit). As to the staff, when we went down at around 9:30pm nobody was at the desk so we couldn't ask about food in the area (which, btw, is not seemingly abundant). But, what's most disturbing is that when we left our room in the morning there was an opened dirty couch-bed at the end of the hallway next to the elevator.

The only things good about this hotel: proximity to the park, quiet at night, clean enough, affordable. If you're on a tight budget and are not too concerned about comfort or service then this might be for you.

“Great Economical Place to Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

If you are looking for a five star red carpet hotel with a high-end breakfast bar, keep looking (and I'd suggest the Canadian side) because this isn't it. If you're looking for a clean place to sleep with a "continental-plus" breakfast (continental breakfast plus eggs, sausage, and waffles) and great service at the best location in Niagara USA, for an economical price, this is it.
GREAT SERVICE- We booked our room online for a week. When we got there the manager noticed the length of time we were staying (most people seem to stay only a few nights) and he gave us a complimentary upgrade from a standard room to a two room suite. We noticed a problem with the bed the first night and told the front desk in the morning. They fixed the problem when they cleaned the room, before noon the same day. Other then the bed, we found the room to be clean and functional.
GOOD BREAKFAST-As others have stated, there is room for improvement on breakfast. The selections are limited and are the same every day. But it suffices if you are not looking for something special. And besides, for the price of this hotel room compared to others, you can go out for breakfast and it's still probably cheaper. One big note on breakfast though; GO TO BREAKFAST EARLY! If you wait until 9 o'clock to have breakfast you will be there with everyone else and there will be no tables.
BEST LOCATION-The back door to the lobby is right across the street to one of the entrances to Niagara Falls. From our room on the top floor, we were able to see and hear the river leading to the falls. It's only about a 30 minute walk to the Canadian Falls activities or Clifton Hill in Canada. You don't have to drive anywhere in the falls area if you are willing to walk. And parking at the hotel is free (most parking in the area is $10, even at the hotels.)
SUMMARY-GREAT ROOM GREAT SERVICE GREAT LOCATION GREAT VALUE!
One note on Niagara Falls lodging in general for those who have not been recently: If you are looking for a setting that has more nature and less commercialism, stay in the US. If you want more of a carnival type atmosphere (and more expensive), stay in Canada.

“Convenient location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

Stayed here over New Years. Premier location beside celebrations - concert, ice rink, shopping, casino. Rooms are average for an economy hotel. Everything clean and beds fairly comfortable. Breakfast included was ok. Showers just ok. Staff and security were cooperative considering the party atmosphere.

“reasonably good hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 December 2011

decided to check-in at the last minute and the hotel was located at a very convenient location. Very near to the falls. good parking space available. room was basic but clean and comfortable. Hotel provides complimentary breakfast which requires improvement in terms of items. Otherwise the stay was comfortable and the location makes it an ideal place for visiting the falls.
