“Will never stay at a Knights Inn again”

Where do I start. The posted price was $55.93 but my husband was charged $95.00 because of the weekend rates (Sat. Sept. 11) The room was unbelieavable. There was a large wet spot in front of the bathroom door which we realized was cause by the toilet overflowing. The carpet was dirty, cigarette ashes on the desk, the walls were nasty and the room smelled musty. All this for $95.00. We could not wait for morning to come so we could leave. My next note will be to the Niagara Chamber of Commerce.

“Worst Place”

Hi,

We had booled the Family Suite & following is our experience
Positive
1. The room is big enough for 3 couples
2. The air-conditioning is good
3. The owner is courteous

Negative
1. The room stinks
2. It is not completely finished i.e. half of the walls had plaster
3. The blankets were torn and smelling
4. The bathroom was leaking from the flush tank to the wash basin
5. The internet facility is bad due to very weak reception of wireless connectivity
6. The breakfast served is possibly one of the pathetic I have come across
7. It is highly over priced

“This place is a nasty dump”

On our way to Buffalo for the annual family reunion, we picked up one of those hotel magazines at a rest stop (we hadn't booked a room ahead of the trip). We came across the Knights Inn, which showed a picture of an inground pool & also offered a coupon. As my husband drove, I called the Knights Inn to make a reservation for 3 nights. The clerk who answered the phone would not honor the coupon (not sure why, it was for that exact location & hadn't expired). That should have been my first clue but I made the reservation anyway.

When we got there, the inground pool was still covered (in July!!) & on top of that was lots of dirty water. At check-in the office looked dirty & the clerk obviously didn't care. Once in our room we regretted choosing this motel. Everything in the room looked dirty & like it came from a 1970s yard sale. I went to use the bathroom & the metal toilet paper holder fell right off the wall. The ceiling tiles above the bed had holes in them, which my husband examined to make sure we weren't being videotaped by some pervert. When my husband went to brush his teeth, the sink came away from the wall & almost fell on him.

After sleeping there for one night (shudder) my husband went to take a shower & he could not shut the water off. Then I took a shower (with the water still on) while my husband went to the office to get our 2nd & 3rd night refunded, which the clerk did reluctanty. My husband even told the clerk how mad I was & that the room they gave us was a piece of ****. We had to leave the room with the shower still running & the clerk didn't seem to be concerned about it.

This is the dirtiest motel I have ever been in. We ended up spending our other 2 nights at the Best Western in Batavia & it was very clean with a decent breakfast. The people running the Knights Inn should be ashamed of themselves & this dump should be shut down. Or better yet call Mike Rowe at Dirty Jobs because this place needs to be demolished.

“The worst experience ever, will never go back to the motel ever!”

Room was in the horrible condition. Carpet was dirty, no exhaust in the bathroom, water was not flowing in the sink, room was filled with the smell of cigarettes smoke, although owner claimed it is a non-smoking room, imagine that with the young kids in the room. TV and fridge were not working. I requested the owner to change the room, he was very rude and refused to change the room. I had to spend the night because it was too late to leave and find out another hotel with kids. When I was in the reception office, the room was filled with some weird smoke and smell. There was another couple arguing with the similar situation and demanding for a refund.

Knights in niagara falls was very bad experience for us. First of all i booked the hotel thru hotel.com I got the conformation email and the no. But when I reached there(after 12 hour travel)
the owner told me that there was no reservation on my name.or it got cancelled. Then i called customer care and he told me that the reservation was there . I told the owner to talk to the customer care but he refused to talk to them.
Customer care told me you pay your bill by credit card and fax me the details for this mistake we will refund you your money. but than the owner just increased the price of the hotel . earlier it was $79 after that he told me it for $149 with taxes. and he told me he will take cash only no credit card payment. What a illegal practice they are doing there he was so rude that he is not ready to listen any thing. and on the name of continental breakfast they had only a pack of bread and some coffee and the hotel building is also very old. there are so may many hotels nearby on the same street with much cheaper rates and good quality. IF you don't want to spoil your trip ......Pls dont stay there.
