Stayed here one night. Spacious, clean, modern rooms. Great breakfast selection! Great place to stay, but a bit on the pricey side.

We recently stayed at the Hampton Inn in Newburgh. We stay at a lot of Hampton Inns and there are similarities but there are some differences too. This Hampton Inn is was either added on to, or just a different style. It is only two floors but it has two wings on either side of the main hotel. The people at the hotel could not have been more accommodating. I had to change reservation dates and it was a somewhat complicated situation but the desk person took care of everything with Hilton Honors. The room was clean and comfortable but the dark carpet and drapes made the room seem very dark. (Also it could be that it was raining for most of our stay!) Because of the heavy rain, there was a problem with the water coming from the faucets brown. We were told that the water was safe but we were given as many bottles of water we wanted. The breakfast was fine, but somehow the layout of the buffet could have been organized a bit better. All in all, a nice Hampton Inn. If your GPS maps have not been updated, be sure to follow the directions on the hotel website because there have been some changes.

on a mini vacation with my wife ..we stopped here for a quick stay on our way to maine(stopped at comfort inn first but they would not drop price below $149.00 so we went to hampton)...arrived at 100am only staying until 900am asking price was $134.00 but I did get price down to $119.00 (pretty steep in my opinion) girl at check in was very freindly, room was standard hampton clean,comfy...went to breakfast it was really good but when we returned to our room around 845am houskeeping had entered our room and removed sheets and towels while we were at breakfast ..all of our personal belongings were still in the room ..there was no way they thought we had checked out...I called front desk and they told me they would check it out about 20-30 min later when I went to check out I ask why this happened I was told that we didnt have our do not disturb sign on door? i am a diamond member and stay in motels over 180 days a year so this was not an acceptable answer I asked for the manager but she was not there...what happened to 100% satisfaction gauranteed? I later called the manager and was told she knew nothing about what took place but would check with the girl at desk and housekeeping...I was not offered anything for my troubles! for the price and service i received i will never stay here again and would advise others to do the same...

Hampton Inns never disappoint us, but this one is a little higher priced. Our room was clean and comfortable and the shower was great.
