Room: Ours "looked" clean but smelled so moldy, mildewy, and with the thickness of old cigarette smoke that it infested all our cloths the first night. It was so bad that in one night my ties and the brand new $1000 suit I wore to the wedding the next day smelled as though it came out of storage in my grandmother's attic. You might think you will escape it when you leave but NO... opening our bags at home triggered a fit of coughing we couldn't start the washer and visit the dry cleaner fast enough. Even the suitcase needs to spend a day in the sun outside.
The pillows looked a little old, sketchy yet tolerable. Towels fine, plumbing fine, bathroom was small but clean and functional, and there are absolutely NO bugs. These amenities are true to form for the 1-2 star hotel.
Service: This was our first break from work in months and we wanted to rest before going to the church for a full day of wedding. We were down the hall from the laundry room, with the "do not disturb" out and still awoke in the morning to blaring music of some nondescript religious/cult-soaked-origin from the cleaning staff in the hall.
Area: The continental breakfast is a kind gesture but left us wanting. Sadly, there is nothing for breakfast in the area other than fast-food or a bagel.
