“Virginia Beach: "What a Great Place"”

What a laxing place to stay. I love older houses, the place is very clean, warm and welcoming, the rooms are great. Ed and Catherine always make me feel at home. Montgomery has a lot of restaurants and shops within walking distance and the towns people are very friendly. Every morning the breakfast is delicious. I've stayed there a bunch of times and I'll definitely stay there again.

“Great Girl's Getaway”

The four of us went there for a spa getaway weekend. Upon arrival, Ed and Catherine, the friendly hosts/innkeeper made us feel at home instantly. We booked a few treatments (eg. massage and facial) and all of us were melted by the spa treatments we got. It was a rained out weekend but we were as happy staying in. There was always so delicious scones and tea in the pantry, the rooms/bathroom are very clean, and the deco of the historical inn just speaks for itself. The breakfast we had in the subsequent morning was wonderful. Overall it was a great experience. Oh.. I almost forgot to mention that Ed is very into an all natural mattress and each room has a different version of the mattress. One of my friends who had always had problems falling into deep sleep actually had one of the best quality sleep she has ever had.

Overall, it was an A+ experience.

“A 'real gem' perfect in everyway.......”

I would firstly like to highlight that this is my 2nd stay at this 'gem' after spending 2 week earlier in the year ( june / july) on my own, I decided to introduce my husband to the wonderful hospitality and delights of what I can only say as a 'real gem'.
Catie and Ed are real hosts as you are welcomed into this amazing former acadamey house, home now B&B. Rustic charm carrys you away into a time of relaxation, great food, fantastic location, and relaxing therapies from the in house spa.
I was fortunate to take in a number of rounds of golf at the local course also, which is offered as a SPA and GOLF break.
This beautiful building is a place for EVERYONE to relax, unwind, or be as action packed as you would like. I would certainly say that if I wanted the girls or boys to have a weekend away or if I had a celebration that I wanted to hold then this woould be a 'GREAT' place to hold it. Once again this is one stay you can not afford to miss. AMAZINGLY FABULOUS.

“Warm, Friendly and Historic”

I had the pleasure of staying at The Mead-Tooker House on a resent visit to the Orange County N.Y. area. The accommodations were excellent. Very, very clean and comfortable room. Great breakfast by Ed, don’t miss it. You’re just a short walk to area shops and restaurants and a short drive to other area attractions. The proprietors Ed and Katie are very warm, friendly and down to earth people. After a day of walking through the village of Montgomery make sure you get a massage by Katie the in house massage therapist. Her magic fingers will make you forget you walked all day. The next time I’m in the area I will definitely stay there again.

“So Relaxing”

A group of my girlfriends and myself stayed at the Mead-Tooker House for a relaxing "girls" weekend. Upon arrival, we found a very gracious host, Innkeeper Edward, who checked us in and recommended some destinations for dinner and shopping. The next day we booked massages with the In-House Licensed Massage Therapist, Catherine, which was incredible. Breakfast was hands down delicious and the homemade scones are heavenly. We will definately be back this winter for another get away!
