Booked a 3-night stay in mid-Oct in a 1-bedroom efficiency. It was a clean, relatively small unit with a bed, pull-out couch and a kitchen area. The walls are antiquated wood panels that don't match and the door to the room opens onto a long deck which is shared by everyone staying at the East Deck. The bed is located under the front window which is right off the deck, so you must keep the curtains pulled most of the time if you want any privacy. You can hear everything that goes on in the adjoining rooms. It seems to be a popular spot for surfers and parking is shared with the motel guests on one side and town parking on the other. There was nothing impressive to say about it except it is close to the ocean. The reviews we read lead us to expect more. The rooms could use a good deal of upgrading.
