I needed to visit my daughter who attends SUNY Cortland and due to a major football game I needed to pick a place a bit further away then I normally would. With the bedbug scare going on, I spent a long time researching if this or any other nearby hotels had been reported. Upon arrival, I was quickly checked in and went to my room. After a very careful check of my room and bedding, I am pleased to report this was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I have been in. There is NOTHING around this hotel, so you do need to drive to get to restaurants, but they are only a few minutes away. The parking lot has some very dark areas at night, so try to park under the pole lights. Unfortunately, my room was at the top of the stairs and I heard EVERYONE coming and going until almost 4:00am. Granted, the other customers are most likely to have been rowdy college kids, but it really was a dreadful night trying to sleep. There is apparently a breakfast buffet, but that closes at 9:30am and I passed even investigating it. No coffee maker, mini refrigerator or microwave in my room. This was very disappointing for the fact that this double room was $121.83 for one night with my AAA discount. Just like all the other hotels in college towns, this one participates in adjusting their prices to local events. It was worth seeing my daughter, but I won't be coming back to this hotel.
