After a terrible stay at Days Inn Binghamton the night before, my family stayed here after dropping my son off to college at Cornell. I was so relieved that the Inn was clean. The rooms were roomy, we had 2 queens, (average comfort beds) and the wireless internet was free and easy to use. Breakfast in the morning found plentiful coffee, juice, and an assorment of breads, cereals, fruit, etc...Very convenient to Cornell/Ithaca, maybe a 20-25 drive along a country road(after you get through the major shopping area with Wal-Mart/Lowes, K-Mart, which came in handy for picking up so needed things for the dorm room). Dinner at Uncle Louies (ribs/cheesecake) was yummy!

While the pet fee was a little high at $20, at least it was not only pet friendly but had parking for tractor-trailers. The check-in was quite and the personnel was very courteous and made sure I got the best discount they could offer. We got a room with the king-size bed but what a surprise! The room was unusually spacious compared to others we have been in. Bed, desk, table and 2 chairs, wardrobe, smaller table, fridge, coffee maker - as well as the hair dryer and ironing board. The room was very neat and clean and there were plenty of large towels for a change! TV reception and a goodly amount of channels and a very quick internet! Complimentary breakfast in the morning as well. Highly recommend this hotel!!

Set aside that Cortland is yet another dead town in central New York, and as a result lodging is at a premium. This dump is likely the bar that others in the area set for themselves. It is old. Cigarette smoke oozes through the hallways. The hallways are dank (i always wondered when I would use this word), the rooms are sparse, bathrooms the size of a small closet, tube tv from 1989, in fact this place hasn't seen new carpeting furniture or paint since Reagans first term. There is no recreation area, too close to the highway and the neighborhood is what is clearly a more ignored part of this town. Stay home, try binghamton, Syracuse or try to stay in one of the newer places in Cortland proper but the demand is high. I cannot wait to get our of this dump.

We stayed here for my son's graduation. The overall condition of the hotel was fine and the rooms were very clean. We encountered no problems during our stay. My only complaint was that the price of $135 per night was a little high but since it was graduation weekend I guess you would expect prices to be higher than normal.
