This was an overnight stop on a long road trip. I have frequented many Super 8 hotels and this would rank next to last. Cleanliness was well below Super 8 standards as was the mediocre breakfast. Location was downtown and road noise did not abate until late. On check in on room smelled terribly of smoke, so I complained to the front desk. Their response was to turn on the fan in the bathroom. That whenever someone smokes in the room it carries into the vents and enters other rooms. So, it would appear that the vent system is connected at least through several rooms. Price was cheap, bed was ok, shower was good and hot. Conveniently located to some nice restaurants.

Stayed at this awesome hotel for business. Great location for everywhere in Malone. Very very clean. I had the option of just having the bed made, and leaving my towels to dry. Which saves the girls work, and saves water. Very friendly staff. I would deff. stay here again.

Seven days of skiing on Titus Mountain with two kids. Clean and worm room, front desk and cleaning staff both helpful. Very good food in "Jons" a restaurant, excellent breakfast, right next to the motel. Price Chopper 24hr open across the street.
Included free continental breakfast is just muffins and toast, but that's what we expected. Anyway, omelets in Jons are much much better :)
I would stay here again.

Alright, I guess I have never stayed at a super 8 motel before, but I have passed by several and just judging from the maintenance of the facade, i would say this one in Malone is already far better. The outside is clean, nicely kept with proper ash trays. The inside is the same. Everything's clean, organized, and neatly placed. The entire property is non-smoking and breakfast is included.
The location was pretty awesome for a small town like Malone. There is a Dollar Tree and Price Chopper right across the street (both of which were also very well kept and clean). Then diagonally across the intersection, there is a Rite Aid so really, you can get all your basic necessities right across the street. There does not appear to be fast food chains in the vicinity but I was actually grateful for that.
Anyway, service was friendly and everything went smoothly. The room is a good size. Enjoyed our stay completely. I would even say it's better than some of the nicer more expensive hotels I've stayed at near vacation hotspots, where they're just trying to rob tourists' of their $$ with convenience.
p.s. there is also free wi-fi available, and it's password protected so you don't have to worry about leechers hogging the bandwidth.
