I had points from a boutique hotel I stayed in from another country so I had this for free so I cannot complain about price--otherwise it seems to be a bit high for the value.
It is a family- run business which is really nice..decent free breakfast...a bit industrial location unless you walk the 10 blocks to the subway.
The "gym" is way too small (1 treadmill squeezed into a room) and the rooms have been updated.

Before you arrive, confirm that this hotel has your reservation. They had lost ours and told us that our printed out confirmation and receipt of payment meant nothing and that they might not have a room for us. After 30minutes of tense waiting, the very rude front of house told us and another very distressed guest and 2 foreign arriVals that we can only have smoking rooms despite all of us have specified non smoking. Generally pig rude.
The shuttle is inconsistent and is not offered the minute you check out.
The walk to the nearest subway takes 25minutes. Not possible with luggage.
It's rubbish. I won't be back.
Days Inn Long Island City is much cleaner, friendly, cheaper and closer to a subway.

Very much a budget hotel. Not within walking distance of anything really, mostly an industrial area. Kinda far ride on the subway into the city. If price is the most important concern, then this hotel is adequate. No trendy furnishings, old school style hotel furniture.

Nothing fantastic but honest. The breakfast is below average; the gym too. Rooms are ok, nice to have shuttle to subway but this one is about 10 mntes walking.
