This place is beautiful and fascinating. Magnificent views, comfortable rooms and bed. Lovely bathroom. Superb location next to Lake Seneca and Watkins Glen.

The hosts at the B&B were lovely and welcoming, Jim was excellent and the breakfasts fab.

Take a walk up the waterfalls at Watkins Glen, it takes a few hours and is a bit steep but it's amazing. Visit the cemetery at the top.

The Hunagarian restaurant close to the Fox is lovely and also take a trip across to O'Malleys for the biggest supper you have every seen. My meal would have fed four with ease.

In all, this place is lovely. It's not a five star hotel so don't expect five star service but it is personable, friendly, full of character, comfortable, warm and homely.

Probably one of the best stays of our honeymoon.

I returned to the Fox and the Grapes for the 3rd time in October 2010. My husband and I were blown away by this gorgeous B&B the very first time we visited and it has kept us returning again and again. The location is perfect and the view from the deck can't be beat. This time my husband and I brought along some family for a fun-filled wine weekend. The trip took an unexpected turn when we found out that we were expecting the day before we arrived. Despite not being able to experience the wine trails, I had a fabulous time on the trip. I give all the credit to Jim and his lovely B&B. The charming rooms, friendly service and delicious breakfasts on the deck made the trip as amazing as ever, even minus the wine. Even better, I will always have wonderful memories of that weekend and of sharing our good news with family. I couldn't have asked for a more special setting! I'm sure there will be a 4th trip in our future. When our son stays with Grandma and Grandpa for the weekend, we know just where we'll be heading. :)

This is wonderful B&B, with a great view and breakfast to boot!
Jim is a great cook and we highly recommend this B&B. The wineres are close by with lot's to do.
Want to come again next year and bring our friends.
