The hotel was not only conviently located with many restaurants to choose from but the staff was very nice and the hotel was very clean and the room spacious. Breakfast was good (simple continental). Definately will stay here again next year for the Syracuse National Car Show.

When we first arrived, the room given to us had dirty carpets that were not vaccummed and dirty floors with sticky stuff and hair on it. This was discussed with housekeeping who immediately vacuumed and mopped the floor.(we should not have to tell them to do this). The beds were relatively clean and comfortable. WIFI worked pretty good. Due to the fact that there was a gap when the door is closed and gaps in the ceiling tiles, my concern was creepy crawlies getting into the room. After the first night, I went into the bathroom to find a long hairy bug on the wall with a bazillion legs on the wall near the toliet!!! He eventually crawled back into the gap in the ceiling and I never saw him again...I left 2 days later. The breakfast is standard fare but there is a Duncan Donuts next door and a Denny's Restaurant across the street. Tully's Restaurant next door has games for kids and has sandwiches, wings, etc. My key would not open the door to the fitness room. The hotel is a short drive to the convention center -me and my roommate were there for a national bowling tounament.

Very disappointing! Our reservation was for non-smoking because of allergies, but we were given a smoking room on the 4th floor with all the smokers. Since this place allows smoking, every floor smells bad. No fresh air flowing anywhere contributes to allergic reactions and breathing issues. They could not move us because they were fully booked and do not have a cutoff time for guest arrival-so even though a nonsmoking room remained empty, they did not give it to us. Additionally, they did not move us for our second night, as we had hoped. All hotels that we called to switch places were full, so we were stuck with a bad situation rather than end our weekend getaway. After we entered the room, there were ashes rubbed into the bed topper, so we asked for clean bedding. It wasn't until the next morning that we noticed questionable substances on the bedskirt which had been hidden by the mattress the night before. It was disgusting, to say the least. Additionally, the floors were filthy, especially around the nightstand and transition from floor to tile. The hair dryer was broken, but the room had a microwave and refrigerator. Only one ice machine for ALL guests to share. The location is good, the bed was comfortable and eventually clean, and breakfast was the standard offering. We did receive a discount for all the trouble, but only on one night of our stay.

I read the reviews online before staying at this hotel and they were all wrong. My friends and I liked the proximity to the mall and that there was breakfast included......that was all this hotel offered. The rooms were disgusting......dirty glasses and questionable substances on towels and sheets. Not to mention the floors were not clean or vacuumed. After arriving from a day of shopping my friends and I wanted to relax but that was not the case......the state of our rooms were unimaginable.......not to mention the horrible stench of smoke and not just cigarette smoke as well as questionable guests. A weekend that was supposed to be fun and enjoyable was anything but...........
