We stay here every year for a huge car show that comes into the area. The Staff puts a free BBQ on for the show participants and the rooms are clean ,quiet and neat!
The General Manager (Pamela) stayed at the hotel almost all weekend to make sure we were all happy with our accomodations. The beds are nice and soft too- great hotel for under $100 a night.

Whenever we need to stay overnight in the Syracuse area, the Clarion is the place we book. The location is convenient, and we know that the hotel is reliable. And affordable, too!! (Less than $100 for our 1 night stay.)

Our smoke-free room was bright and clean. This hotel offers ameneties you don't get at many higher-priced places. I was pleased to see that we had a mini-fridge, microwave, large screen TV, full size ironing board w/ iron, blow dryer, etc. Many establishments charge extra for such "luxuries" as the fridge, and often you'll have to call the front desk for an ironing board. Not at the Clarion! Just the fact that these simple things were there immediately made me feel at home. The room was a perfect size for my husband and I to spread out our stuff and to move around without tripping over one another. The BED was the most comfortable ever! I zonked out withing a few minutes of laying down. Linens were clean, towels were fluffy, and the bathroom was spotless. Friendly, efficient staff checked us in and out quickly. We love the Liverpool Clarion Inn and highly recommend it to all!

The service at the hotel was not very good. When I checked in, it didn't seem like either working at the desk wanted to help me.

I also made clear to them that on my second night, I'd have a late arrival, so I wanted to make sure the door would be unlocked at that the front desk was 24 hours. I was assured that this was the case. The front door was unlocked. But I was unable to get into my room as my key was programmed for just one night. The front desk clerk was nowhere to be found and after 30 minutes waiting, I phoned the front desk on my cell phone and 10 minutes later someone showed up.

The room was moderately clean. The bed was comfortable and the tv a nice size. However, for the price paid and the problems I encountered, I will stay elsewhere in the area from now on.

I wish the last review had been written before I booked this hotel. The staff is unbelievably rude. I have never encountered such an unfriendly staff.

When I stayed, the business center had a light fixture hanging from the ceiling (exposed and non-functioning) and the computer was so slow I gave up. Fortunately I have a laptop with wireless (no problems with that), but I wanted to print a map and so tried the business center for that purpose. THe excercise room is above average for hotels of that class - 2 (cheap) ellipticals, 2 reclining bikes, 2 treadmills and a TV and Water cooler.

My room was small and the bed not very comfortable. The shower gave me a few cold shocks. The hotel does provide Herbal Essenses shampoo, soaps and lotion, which improved my mood somewhat.
