“Would not stay there again.”

On the positives---great location and rooms are nice. The owner is very pleasant.

Disappointments:

--Room not freshened daily
---Owner is a heavy smoker and ashtrays filled with cigarette butts on the back sitting porch. Some cigarette butts on the grounds. Grounds were not that well maintained--lots of weeds, etc.
- Owner likes to stay out late and sleep in. Breakfast was at unpredictable times. One morning-it wasn't ready until 10:45 AM. One morning I requested breakfast by 8:30 AM (going to church) and she was still asleep at 9:15 AM so I went out to breakfast. Breakfast was always "the same"---starch (pancakes, french toast) bacon and blueberries. No alternatives--i.e. oatmeal, egg whites, etc
-Overpriced considering the lack of service, etc.

“Decent but not great”

This is a lovely place. The rooms are quaint and nicely decorated with artists' work and the rooms in the back are even more luxiourious. However, a disappointing aspect was the host's not cleaning away her cigarrette buts and late breakfast. She was harried when she got up to make it and on our second night we had asked for 8:30 to 9 am breakfast and had to go out on our own because she overslept and didn't get started till 10 or so. Host is a lovely young woman, but not orderly enough in terms of the breakfast and cleaning up quicker. The breakfast also wasn't healthy enough for me or containing variety of things you expect at a b and b like muffins, toast.

“Great little B&B!!! Jeanine was the best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 June 2011

We stayed at Piper's village Inn over the Memorial Day weekend. Our room was small but very nice and comfortable..we enjoyed the scented candles very much! Jeanine was a wonderful hostess! We had delicious breakfasts everyday! The parking was very convenient and the inn had a little garden and porch which was wonderful to just sit, relax and read.Great experience in a beautiful town!

Room Tip: Book ahead if you are going during the holidays.

“Relaxing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 March 2011

After checking out the reviews on Trip Advisor we decided to take a ride to upstate New York and stay at the Piper's Village B&B. The location was withihn walking distance to everything Lewiston had to offer, and the B&B was located on a quiet, historic street.

We stayed in Victoria's Suite which was only $99 per night (off season rate). The room was clean, quiet, cozy, and had a hot tub that was the perfect size for two people. Breakfast was standard (bacon, quiche, banana bread; no choices were offered) but good.

We met Jeannine in the morning and she was very personable. We would stay again.

*The town of Lewiston is small but lovely. We went to the town of Niagra Falls, NY to see the falls (about 10 minute drive from Lewiston) and we were glad we chose not to stay there - loud, touristyand over-priced.

“Just Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 December 2010

I wanted to suprise my wife with a romantic weekend before Christmas, and this was just the place for it. The smell of fresh baked goods as you walk into the house immedately put one in the Christmas spirit. The room we had was spectacular. Very detailed and tastefully decorated to the character of the house.
The cool weather with a little bit of snow to make everything white, along with the twinkle of Christmas lights from neighbouring homes made the place feel like a storybook picture come to life.. We would really like to come back again and again for the warmness of our hosts, and the friendliness of the people of Lewiston. Piper's Village Inn really helped make our weekend extra special.... Just watch your toes from the feet of the bed as you walk by..
