I read about the hotel and about it looking like an old fashioned giant. It is a large hotel. It is not old fashioned. Ok it was built in the 60's or 70's but it is well presented, clean and well appointed. There is a lovely beach and fabulous views. A short walk to the delightful Brela and Baska Voda. The beach was not busy (as others have suggested) and the grounds were lovely. The staff were polite, helpful and knowledgeable.
Down sides? The breakfast is average. Plenty to choose from but 'big scale' buffet style catering impairs the quality. We ate other meals in the neighbouring villages (some great food to be had. try Konoba Feral) The other down side was that the 'double' bed was two singles pushed together. The hotel was mainly filled with coach trip tourists.
We would return.
