We had driven past this place before but never considered staying till the need arose of an economical place for Christmas week. Rooms were comfy and off an inside corridor which was good for cold weather. Price included muffins, danish and coffee for breakfast. I forgot my bathing suit but indoor pool and hot tub were nice and clean. The place is on Lake Placid and summer looks to be an ideal time to be here. My only issue was the grey shade of the smaller towels but the tan bath towels were great! The proprietors were very accomodating and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

We stayed 5 days over the holiday break. Our room looked out on lake placid with a fireplace and kitchenette. Had an adjoining room with seperate bathroom perfect for our 14 year old boys. The staff was great. They even let us borrow their sleds, gave us a can of pam to make them go faster and then let us use the pool area to change and shower being that our flights left so late in the evening. 10 minute walk to town, grocery right down the street. Great location and value. Great family friendly place!

Stayed 5 days in cabin 7 and felt like we were staying with friends or relatives. The homey atmosphere is great for families and we settled right in. Had a great view of the lake, made a snowman, enjoyed the fireplace and movies. Great location across from Riteaid and just down the road from a large grocery store. It was nice not being on the main street. The bonfire our last night was an extra nice treat for us.
