We spent a wonderful 4 nights in a beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath condo with a view of Lake Placid. The condo is very well decorated with Adirondack Charm.i.e., furniture, art work and special touches in each room. Great living room with rock fireplace, with all the wood you need on the patio, just off the dining room. Nice roomy bathrooms and bedrooms. Master has King Size bed and the other bedroom has 2 twins. Lots of closet space and dresser drawers. The condo is immaculate and updated.
We took a footbridge over a babbling brook located at the end of the building to the golf course, Lake Placid Lodge and other condos is the area, all within a few minutes easy walk away.
We shared the condo with my brother and sister in law, there was plenty of room in living area as well as the spacious dining room without any loss of privacy or comfort. Baths were stocked with plenty of towels, etc as well the kitchen being stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware and appliances. The master bath has a stackable washer and dryer tucked in a closet like enclosure. Very convenient.
Only Caveat for some one having trouble with stairs, there are a dozen stair steps down to the condo. None of us had any problem navigating the stairs.There is way to enter the condo from the lawn area without using the stairs.
Great location, great ambiance, romantic, very nice local contact person who solved a minor lock issue quickly and professionaly and helpful friendly owners.
We would love to stay here the next time we get to Lake Placid. Highly recommended.
