Made a reservation on a Wednesday (for Friday night). Called Thursday to cancel (Inclement weather forecasted). Was then told there was a 7 day cancellation policy! Weather turned out not to be that bad so we made the trip (after all they were going to charge us anyway). Should have stayed home. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

very old hotel, built to Olympic-80 and wasn't updated, all equipment is old: bath, TV, Internet - anything don't work property. Any assistant from hotel staff.
The advantages - real "lake view" and the center of village location. The room is large, but needs to fresh the air.
Globally - it is not relevant to declared stars, it is simple motel.

My biggest complaint is that there are no covers for the cover! the dooner, thogh warm, was only covered by a sheet which means you're sleeping under a blanket that millions of bodies slept under before you!! ICKKK! The carpeting was not clean either..so don't go bare foot. Our view was of mirror lake (nice) and parking lot (noisey) Try another hotel until the Lakeview Moror Inn throws themselves into the 21st century.

The view from the balcony was excellent and interesting. The room was of average size but the bathroom was very small and not very clean. In addition, the wallpaper was peeling from the bathroom wall. The staff at High Peaks was friendly and helpful. The food at the Dancing Bears was reasonably priced and of excellent quality. The location, at the foot of Main Street, was very convenient and we could enjoy the village with virtually no driving. Complimentary morning coffee and papers are available across the road at High Peaks.
