We stayed at the Interlaken Inn and found it a wonderful surprise. We were not sure what to expect and found ourselves in a charming Inn with the most wonderful food and fantastic service. It had great character and charm but was not cutesy. I woouldn't hestitate to recommend it.

The Interlaken Inn was warm, hospitable, friendly, and full of good cheer for my family and I when we stayed for a long autumn weekend weekend. Food at the Inn's restaurant was an unexpected treat: fresh, delicious, and carefully served, the meals we had here were the best we found in the area. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and considerate. We'll stay again when we next head north to Lake Placid!

Absolutely loved the place! Great that it was off the main street so at night we were not kept up by the loud street noise that other places in Lake Placid experience. Had a great room and was given the tour of the whole place and already have a reservation for another room in the fall! Recommend to anyone even families (just stay in the Carriage House!) By far my favorite place in Lake Placid.

Christmas came early for us once again this year. Our weekend spent at the Inn was such a special treat. The choas of the holidays is hard to escape but this weeknd was a gift to ourselves. Our room was incredible with the melt away sheets and a tub you could dream in for hours. The Inn as always decorated beautifully for the holidays and the food was fabulous. From fondue in the pub to dinner with 12 of our closest friends in the Moose Room, Richard never disappoints. Not to mention, Mark makes the best martini in Lake Placid. And there is something to be said about waking to the smell of breakfast cooking and arriving downstairs to the fire already burning. With this type of attention it's no wonder we find ourselves returning annually for our own early Christmas gift.
