LIke everything in this country, you get less than what you pay for. At 46,000 CFA, you will not get anywhere near the value one expects at that price in US or Europe. The rooms are a good size and decently furnished and have beautiful views over the paseo and ocean, overlooking a charming garden with empty swimming pool and life size concrete elephant. However, the pipes exude brown rusty water and while the place seems clean, all of the tile is slimy to the touch. Worst of all are the twin beds pushed together, which turn out to be cheap cots with little stability or support. The air conditioning worked well though, and there was the bonus of a working fridge (with dead cockroach inside).
Travellers should also be warned about the business center, which looks updated and fancy with cameras at every computer, but is excuciatingly slow and cameras don't work. An illusion of efficiency.
Looks like whole place is going to be renovated though, so don't know how long this will be accurate.
