We spent one night in a 'honeymoon suite' as a luxury for our 25th anniversary, on our way to a conference up the road the next day. Waited several minutes for someone to approach the front desk. For the price we paid, you'd think the room would have been in a bit better condition. Housekeeping had overlooked the spots on the floor where someone had spilled something (presumably coffee), and the cold water handle on the 2-person tub leaked so much that towels on the opposite end of the tub deck were soaked. When the airjets were powered, water splashed out of the tub and onto the floor...need some sort of adjustment while in the tub, not merely a timer on the wall. The flatscreen TV was nice and large. The best thing about the room was the view of the lake. Drapes had holes about halfway up. If this was a mom-and-pop place at a mom-and-pop price, much could be overlooked. But at a resort and at a rate nearing $400 a night, expectations and standards ought to be significantly higher. Quite disappointed.
