This is our third Americade stay here at the K.H. motel and again we were
notion disappointed. Accomidations are clean and owner has always been very pleasant to us. We plan on staying here every time we come up here!

Clean, comfortable room. Half the price of other motels.

Nice heated pool and accomodating owner.

I have stayed in the motel rooms in previous years which are more updated than the rustic cabins in the woods.

This year we did the cabins which my kids loved, I prefer the motel and efficiencies.

I wasn't expecting much for $85 per night but I was still let down. I went with my 11 yr old twins and a friend of mine and her 2 kids. Both of our cabins smelled very moldy and were very dirty. My friends bathroom was filthy (blood on the toilet) and the shower had mold all over it. My bathroom was okay but I had to distract my spider fearing daughter while I cleaned out the many spiders and cob webs, including a three foot web (I kid you note) I found in the closet. I wouldn't put any food in the fridge and the curtains had about 2 inches of dust on them. I swore I felt things jumping on my ankles but I didn't have any bites. The beds and pillows are ancient and sooo uncomfortable. I have maxi-pads thicker than the pillows. Luckily we only stayed 2 nights and we were out of the rooms for most of the day. The pool was okay. The owner is a nice lady but this place really is a dump. It doesn't matter if the decor is ugly and dated (it was) or things were broken (lamp) but cleanliness is a neccesity. I've been going to Lake George every summer for 14 years and this place was the worse one I've ever stayed at.

I was there with my son in cottage 1 and the floor in the bathroom was always wet and the carpet on one side of the room. By the 3th night we could not stand the mildew smell and saw the lady who ran the place. She went in the room and said she did not know their was a problem. I found that hard to believe but did not argue with her. She did give us another room which was much cleaner
