My family has been going to this camp ground every Oct for the past 7 years. The camp ground itself is nice, we stay every year in the cabins. Cabins have not been updated in the seven years we have been there. They are still in pretty good sheep. The futons need updating. They also don't do a good job of cleaning the cabin after a dog stays there so if you have allergies you will be affected.
Some other CONS that need to be looked at are:
They have a outside bar on site that plays loud DJ style Wedding songs or top 40 songs until 10:30PM. Feels strange to be camping when you are sitting around the fire and they are playing a Katie Perry song at club at club decibel levels....
They also are squeezing in more and more of these cabins to make more money so space is getting tighter.
And most of all - we used to stay there for $300-$400 for 3-4 days. Now they want $750-$800 for the same time. Rummer has it the camp ground was sold to a bigger company.
SO although we had a good time every year because my family ROCKS.....the bad is that this might be the last year we go because the camp ground just seems to lost its way....
Still rate it as very good.....just gets weirder each year......and the double price is unacceptable.
