Recently stayed at this property for two nights. Requested one bed, but room had two doubles. (Possibly Queens.) Room was clean, well-lit, smelled okay, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Room had two full-sized windows that opened all the way. My suggestion would be to leave them closed if you don't want to be awakened in the morning by passers-by from other rooms. Heat and A/C unit in room was new and worked well. The bathroom was a good size, clean, and recently updated. The water was brown (rust?) when we first turned it on, but after that it was fine for the rest of our two-day stay. Shower head was strong, water was hot. Be warned about the size of the tub/shower. It was narrow at best, cramped at worst. Towels and washcloths were thin and a little rough. If you can spare the room in your luggage, bring a thick towel from home. You'll be glad you did. Bathroom also had a heat-lamp thingy in the ceiling, which kept the room nice and warm after getting out of the shower. Room had a fridge, which was a nice touch. We were able to have cold bottled water and juice which we bought at a nearby gas station. Television worked well, clear reception, and there was a nice selection of channels. (At least 75, all of which came in clear.) The TV has A/V inputs in front, so our $29 DVD player we brought was a snap to set up. All in all, I was happier with this room than I thought I would be. We paid $71.00 per night including tax, but the woman at the front desk said the rates were about to go up. This property is directly across from the SkyTop Motel.
