Loved the ease of renting pornos on display at the front desk, loved looking at the fancy cars coming and going at all hours of the night with the hot girls in them... The ability to get whatever you disired at any givin time. The truck driver blowing his horn at 5am to let his wife know he tracked her down and knows she's there.. The truck picking up the dumpster at 2am was the best along with the 24 hour maid service pushing grocery carts around with linens for those quick cleans up on the short stays...

Rooms were clean except the terd in the toilet, but showers were hot. The flowers were pretty and the price was right for the room. We would stay at the edgewood for sure if in the area....This is a great place to stay if you have a mistress to meet up with, entrance is blocked with trees and can't be seen from the road. We loved the edgewood and would highly recommend if in the area....

PS. Not a good place for children..

Stayed there only after finding every hotel room on LI was booked. Should have moved the trip to another weekend, but couldnt. Here's what we found: Hotel "lobby" contained a cashier behind (bullet proof ?) glass. The hotel offerred "themed" rooms. Our room (two full size beds) was clean, but the bathroom was dated. No outlets in the bathroom (forget the use of a hair dryer). No lock on the bathroom door. Shower doors didn't move well. No fan in the bathroom (mirror was fogged for an hour.) Air conditioning in room was marginal. TV in room was poor. Beds wer ok. Room was small. Noisy accomodation.

The overall stay was ok but the room was way to crowded my husband and I had to walk sideways to get to the bathroom or to even to get on the right side of the bed I think they need to get rid of the oversized dresser in the room so people can walk about a little better in the room I would suggest to remove the dresser and make the dinning table a little bit larger/higher the table was so small the two of us couldn't sit down togeather and eat because it was such a tight space

Just got back from a trip to see relatives in Long Island. Couldn't deal with them after a few days so I checked into a local motel. This place was cool. DVD in the room, cheap rate I paid only like $80 per night. Close to restaurants and bars and NYC. Would recommend.
